Qubik Infra has secured a new contract in Goa wherein the company is responsible for building a new psychiatric hospital in Bambolim at Goa Medical College. The new project, approved by Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by the end of this year
Built over 96,000 sq. mtrs.of land, the new segment will address the rising mental health cases through proper medication and guidance. Qubik Infra is building a total of three structures in this hospital ranging from quarters, a research and development (R&D) block, to a kitchen block. The wing will be equipped with world-class facilities where people will be put under the supervision of certified counselors, using specialised therapies. The hospital with a capacity of 500 beds is being designed to ensure a home-like feel to the patients
The contract is worth approx. 105 crore. The company received the confirmation in the month of June, 2022 and was given 1.5 years to complete it. This hospital will be its fifth project in collaboration with GSIDC
Qubik Infra, carries the legacy of its parent company S K Construction and has completed 10 projects in Goa including a Jogger’s Park in Panaji and a disaster management shelter sponsored by the World Bank. It is also involved in ongoing projects including Dr. Shyam Parasad Mukherjee Stadium and Bicholim Fire Station
